Tobacco Cessation Resources
There's no right way to quit, just your way. Instead of dreading the process, embrace the journey.
Take the time to understand what's involved in your journey and how to avoid the landmines along the way. The Wellness Center strongly endorses the following 2 references. Check out these immensely helpful guides written by an ex-smoker turned smoking cessation expert, VJ Sleight.
This guide is full of tips, ideas, exercises and suggestions to help you be successful at becoming smoke-free. Quitting can feel like putting a puzzle together with all the pieces upside down. By following this Tip Book, one by one, the pieces are turned over and slowly you can put them together to create a personalized quit plan to be successful.
Now choose your path by becoming familiar with the variety of resources listed below. Choose the ones that work for you.
